GK Fusion S now available!

Died in a week!! Not cool.
Well I tried it out, liked it enough to buy it (with an extended warranty thanks to TNCreature). Played it at a gig last night. Still have to play around to dial it in however it sounded great pretty much as is, loads of power. The stand by light is kinda ridiculous, but a minor annoyance. While I still have to play to see how it all properly works, it's obvious the eq and tone shaping is quite powerful.
Rack mounting could be interesting once the rack ears come out. I would be a little concerned with ventilation as its only vented on the sides, also I think the power switch could be difficult to get at. Having said that, this thing is so small I packed it in an old padded laptop bag, that's pretty convenient.

Do the nobs feel cheap and loosey goosey?

I foresee many GK used amp heads up for sale for those wanting a newer GK head, Me I'm too in love with my boat anchor of my GK Fusion 550, But those new fusion + can cause me to sell my extra MB Fusion 800 at a great price , Oh and if you want a tube compressor, have mark bass one for sale, just sitting around ! See here I am saving you folks money !

I know the 400RB-IV isn't as heavy as your F550, but as enticing these newer GKs are, I'm in love with my 400 and 1001. Besides, after reading some posts, I feel it's above my pay grade to learn.

I’m in.

Amazing amp. Surprising highs out of this thing. Very thumpy. Tube warmth. And a overdrive that is going to put some pedal makers out of business.

A winner as usual from GK.

I may have a problem.

And this is only one of my 4 cabs. All are 410s.

Sorry....

I’ll stop.
I think that's a good problem to have ?
I really like the styling of the MB series as well as the Legacy series. The new Fusions just look kind of meh to me? Can't argue with the sound though I guess? Sounds like GK.
I'm still really bummed about the lack of attention the Plex preamp is getting. I think GK had a potential home run with the Plex with the interest of ampless setups?
@rag rag
Best wishes

NICE!... I'm thinking of going micro and ha e been looking at the legacy 800. What's your fave out of them 4 out of interest?

They all have their place. But the Legacy is number one. Followed by the MBF800. It seems to have a little more character then the S. Of course the Fusion S is great. And last but by no means least. The MB-500. Which sits mostly in the case but stands ready if needed. But understand this. The MB-500 is a beast. Very clear very powerful even through an 8 ohm cab. Reminds me of the MB-800 I use to have and miss.

I think I've decided on the legacy 800 now . I've always steered clear of class D's only having played a couple in the past (the old heft debate).but good reports on the new modules these days I have hope.
Every Demo I have heard sounds killer.
It'll be using it with a Ampeg 6x10 with a little Darkglass B7k as my core
