    Burnout?

I really do think it's more serious then i tought. Are you a software dev? I am reading lately alot about that profession and everyone says the same then you. Must also be very exhausting to keep up with. Well I'm that far that when i'm on some days off i don't even leave the house anymore...

    Burnout?

I'm thinking about it for a long time now. Lately more seriously, maybe a subtle cut.

    Burnout?

Don't worry I use an Upright all the time, well nobody would hire me with electric bass

    Burnout?

That's good for you too ;) I couldn't play anymore if I had a few before so I usually keep it for after. I play mostly Jazzgigs.

    Burnout?

That's the point, I can't just quit even for 15 weeks, I'm teaching part time and can't just say no I don't play anymore, pays my bills.I'm just stuck in this.

    Burnout?

So true. There are rarely young people who are interested in the music I do, and if, most of them are music students. At least I can drink as much as I want usually.

NBD: Manne Multibass (six string shortscale!)

Thanks for your answer! The bass has a paulownia body + poplar top and a single zenblade + piezo. I was looking for the Galli set but can't seem to find to buy them with a 25 topstring. Since i play the D'addario Nickels for years i would love to try the Galli.

NBD: Manne Multibass (six string shortscale!)

I recently got a Multibass and love it. Sounds beautiful and plays so easy. It's a really gorgeous instrument! Since the bass is setup B-C i would like change it from E-C, can i ask what strings you use for that? I really enjoy your playing and your music btw!

Short-fingered players, I need to hear from you!

i got short sausage fingers too and couldn't agree more but then again i come from upright. For me the 3 finger technique worked always better then 4 fingers in the lower register. Even playing over 4 frets i would just use my middle finger for the 2 inner tones. For playing fast, clean position...

Double Bass To Dot or not to Dot? That is the question.

IMHO I would take some time for practicing position and shifting. Musclememory is the way to go in my opinion and you will profit in the long term much more then from visual hints. Please don't report me too for that answer. But i would stay away from dot inlays, i think you would regret it at...
