Maybe. I have always played long scale. Just know it's much shorter than mine. ;) I prefer round wound. Bass Boomers are always my fallback. I'm just trying to figure out gauge.

My son finally decided to start playing and picked up a cheap Fender Squire. Strings are black and need replaced. He was told those were the strings that came on it when bought new. From the looks of it I'm guessing short scale 40-95 but really not sure. Would like to replace with same gauge...
