    Could you do me a favor by measuring the thickness of the pickguard? Maybe that way I can find out what material is used and where to get it. :)

    Does anybody know what material was used for the original black pickguard? I've seen some matte black materials in different thicknesses, but I'm clueless to what is the originals are made off. I want to replace the silver guard, but keep things as original as possible. :)
