Any chance I have a faulty b7k ? It has an extreme amount of hiss when cab sim is engaged , I tried everything to minimize it and havnt had any luck . The only way I can get the hiss to go away is by disengaging the cab sim . I also notice choosing a diff mic changes the type of hiss .

do a search on gain staging , it seems your levels are really hot , if your going into your interface hotter then it can handle your going to get hiss / and digital clipping . Try and record at around -20 average levels with peaks no higher then 12 dbfs and from there you can turn it up using...

Hello , not sure how much signal your feeding into your preamp but look at it like this a line level signal is around -20db average with peaks around -12 , and the occasional -6dbfs peak , as long as the signals average level isn’t being pushed past this point you shouldn’t be getting any...

Just wanted everyone to know Chris at Darkglass helped me get the suite working , it was a simple fix , happy I can use my b7k ultra now , and my Adam without any issues . Great service . Chris is a nice guy , wish other companies had this sort of kindness and enthusiasm as Darkglass .

Darkglass has the best support . Super friendly and helpful. Seems like Darkglass is still going strong , even after selling out to Korg .

So the new update isn’t working still on my Mac , I wonder what it could be , my iPad works with the adam perfectly but the ir’s are still missing with the updated suite on Mac system . Anyone else run into this problem ?
