70's Parts bass - 72 Jazz body, 74 Precision neck, 76 Jazz pickups, Badass II bridge.

I've found playing a 5 string without a compensated nut feels much closer to a 4 string. The spacing with a compensated nut might not feel natural to you because the higher strings are closer together.

I got a 1x15 and a 2x10 on top. They are portable and easy to move. They sound very different from each other, but sound best when paired together, the 15 gives deeper bass and the 10's give more punch and definition.

I have an early Classic 5. I play mostly 4's so not having the compensated nut on this bass has helped me feel more at home.

I use the same rig with PA or without and use both cabs, no matter how small the club. The 15" alone lacks punch and the 2x10" alone lacks bass. But together they fix each other and sound great. They are very lightweight and easy to move. 700 watt Aguilar head isn't transparent and isn't quite...
