Here's mine. I added a active/passive pull switch to the volume knob and a passive tone control that works continuously. I have it strung with heavy gauge EBCF strings and tuned to Eb.
That is AWESOME!! I have never played one of those but I am in love with the looks of them, please tell me they don’t sound good lol. I’m curious as to adding the passive options.

I made a thread on this mod:

I used a 0.47 orange cap. I made a wiring diagram and posted it in the thread. As I recall, I used a diamond tip bit to make the hole for the new pot. Drilling a new hole was the trickiest part.

But the EMGs are aggressive pickups. This really let me tame them when needed for the song.

I’m
Have really been in 4 string land lately, but this is still my favorite. Need to adjust/build my existing pedal collection to complement it a little more.

Beautiful Bass!! I can relate, I pretty much stay on a 5, But my 6 would be my Favorite. I was going through ALOT of bad times in my life, wasn’t even playing or practicing the bass when I bought my 6, hadn’t picked one up in 8 yrs but I happen to be in A music store when I saw it and I bought it, it sat for another 2 yrs. I’ve just recently picked everything back up after 10 yrs. But yes my Peavy is my favorite.

That’s impressive, I hope to be getting one one day, I really want a five but a four will suffice. Like I said I’ve never played one but knowing this is great. Did the upgrade do everything you wanted it to do?
