Hi, I'm planning on buying a cheap bass and "rebuilt it" entirely. Defret it, refinish, change pickups , change headstock, etc. to make a whole new bass. I wanna put Dimarzio Model J pickups in it but I want to try something. I want to move the neck pickup, even closer to the neck...
