You can’t add new patches, if you want to save your settings you have to overwrite an existing one. Press store/swap, select the patch you want to overwrite with knobs one and two of the rightmost effect controls (where it says ‘select location’) and press store/swap again to save.

Sire M series has some options. I have an M5 5 string and I like it a lot. Nut width on their 4 strings is 38mm and the neck is C shaped, so that sounds similar to a J neck.

Isn’t Fast Fret just mineral (paraffin) oil? (Edit: apparently it is, but not all mineral oil is the same). I refill my Fast Fret applicator with mineral oil I bought from IKEA (SKYDD). Works fine. It’s probably a bit greasier than the real stuff though. Maybe you can find a lighter mineral oil.
