    I just brought this lovely beast home today from Barnett Music Exchange in Tulsa. NS Dimension 5. First multi-scale I’ve had, but it didn’t take any time to adjust to it. It is fantastic; feels and sounds so good!

    Semi Hollowbody basses - opinions

    For a current recording with a hollowbody listen to "The Last Fight" by Velvet Revolver. On the recording, Duff McKagan is playing a short-scale Duesenberg Hollowbody with half-round strings.

    My first bass was a Memphis, bought new in 1979. It was pretty much a piece of crap but I didn't know better at the time and it was all I could afford. It looked pretty good - natural finish, white pickguard, maple fretboard, total Fender P bass body and head copy but with a P/J pickup...
