Nice Spectors

My NS-4 sounds smooth and angry at the same time! Spector builds some amazing instruments.

ok I have my eye on one of these. How do those pickups sound? How do they compare to the EMG in the Euro?

give me a reason to buy one lol

1st Spector, so I have no point of reference with the other pickup types. I can say that this has a very thick/beefy natural tone... before you even start messing with the EQ. It surprised me a bit, being a maple fretboard and all.

I love Spector Euro 4LX. I had a 5LX which was great but I didn't really get on with the 35" scale length so I sold it after not owning it for very long. Eventually, a saw a smoking deal on a Euro 4LX and I've never looked back.

I think Spector are one of those basses that I will just always want to have in my collection. There are some sounds that you are only getting from a Spector and nothing else will really do the job. They have a mid-range grind that nothing else really captures.

A tiger-eye six string Euro would be awesome, but I'm afraid I won't be able to visit Bass Central until I have a lot of disposable cash on hand (some for my wife to make bad decisions with at the Altamonte Mall, and some for me to make bad decisions with at B.C.) :hyper:
Hahaha. We can always provide you an "alternate" invoice with every purchase ;)

I just brought this lovely beast home today from Barnett Music Exchange in Tulsa. NS Dimension 5. First multi-scale I’ve had, but it didn’t take any time to adjust to it. It is fantastic; feels and sounds so good!
