Apparently I could be wrongInteresting. This cable was recommended on the forum to be good. I guess not. I didn't have any other cable to try.

That's what I thought, but now I'n not so sure with all the back & forth with the connector talk on the Official Mesa Subway Forum...And if I remember, the problematic green connectors are NOT Rean products.
Whatever it is, Iām sure it can be tracked down and remediedThat's what I thought, but now I'n not so sure with all the back & forth with the connector talk...
I did like the sound of the cab as far as I could tell otherwise.
Green ones and brown ones.If I remember, it's the green ones causing problems.
Thatās not true. My green ones are genuine Neutrik/Rean. As @agedhorse said only about 5% of the connectors appear to have problems. Here are photos of the two problem connectors. And if I remember, the problematic green connectors are NOT Rean products.
Yes sir they are. Now Iām guessing that Neutrik may have solved the problem but they didnāt admit there was one even though these received numerous emails about all the failures. And those are problematic? Definitely enough confusion to go around!
This same cable woks fine with My Genzler Kinetix-Nu Classic 210.Yes sir they are. Now Iām guessing that Neutrik may have solved the problem but they didnāt admit there was one even though these received numerous emails about all the failures.
I feel the biggest problem maybe with the cable companies who quickly bought them to fill their stock.that might explain why weāre still seeing failures. Iām sure there are a lot of cables out there that have the problem.
My suggestion to everyone is if you experience the problem return the cable(s) immediately for replacement and continue doing it until you get goid ones. Hopefully the vendors will realize thereās a definite problem and all of this will end up in Neutrikās lap.![]()
Where do you live? This same cable woks fine with My Genzler Kinetix-Nu Classic 210.
If it is the cable causing the issue with the Subway 115 I tried that is.
I don't know, and currently have no access to another SpeakOn cable to try.
Oh boy...so, did it work with different cab?Turned out that one basically brand new (I may in fact have never used it till now) brown connector 25ā GC āEliteā cable is not working, with that cab at least.
