    Thanx a lot! Are you sure about 380TX too, or just the fact that it is Corelli? They are really easy to play! I have a set of Obligatos that I had planned to put on, but now I dont know. Never tried anything else than Thomastik Mittel before...

    Yes, I didnt see that before! The G string has a golden ring, the D a purple one, I cant see any on A and E though. Thank you for helping me out!

    Double Bass String ID help wanted!

    I recently bought a 50s Bjarton (Swedish) upright, the strings are steels with black wrapping with a gold/yellow ring closer to the bridge at the ball end, all black at the head end. They could be pretty old I guess, but they sound great! Does anybody recognize these?
