Bassists have nothing on trumpet players. Through 30 years of trumpet playing I have been through dozens of horns before settling on pretty much what I started with. Basses? I have a Cirrus 4 string that will be a keeper.... for now.

I have used and abused Peavey products since the late 70's and have never had a product fail. Their stuff may not have the cache' some other brands do, but the important thing is that it works. Every time. While not a fan of imports, I do own a couple of their non US amps and they work just fine.
