Well, put 'er there, because I'm 56. When I played in my college days ('71-'75), we played a lot of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Doobie Bros, Quicksilver Messenger Service, etc...... Now I don't play much (can't find guitarists, drummer) but, strangely, I have turned to putting basses together...

I don't know if anybody is still tuning in to this thread, but I've had a terrible experience (my bad) of matching a Mighty Mite Jazz Body with a WD Jazz Neck ---never,never,never again. The MM body has a 2 1/2" heel width, while the WD neck heel is 2 5/16"!!! As one guy said, 'that's not just...

I just bought a Mighty Mite J body, but it did NOT come with a wire drilled for the bridge at all. I haven't noticed any problems ---- no buzz. I'm glad it doesn't buzz. Sorry, I'm not good enough with the drill to try to make a route in the body. Hope it goes well for you!

My, my. A beautiful USA Custom which is what I am looking for. This is going to a Mighty Mite jazz bass body (an unexpected marriage, I know) and I believe the rounded heel of the neck would fit the pocket of this body. Have you had any experiences with MM jazz bodies? This is my first build...
