    Hello fellow Dingwall players, I just got a used Combustion 5. The Instrument is great, but I didnt knew that the preamp doesnt work with empty batteries. My other basses have Glockenklang preamps and an empty battery is not an issue in passive mode. Would you recommend switching preamps?
