purple twins (almost)!

been awhile since i posted anything anywhere, but here is my 1982 Aria RSB Special 2, lovingly restored in purple with a flame veneer, and all new electronics. missing a few pup screws, though (!)

I have 2 OBP3's and I can say the difference between them and the standard Ibanez is way huge. I think paired with the bartolini's in the prestige its probably a *shade* even more fantastic than the nordstrands, but that's only my personal opinion - the bartolini's in the prestige series are...

and my SR5005 prestige, again with an 18v OBP3 in it. have to say the original pre amp was awful, as it was in the sr 500 above, and since I bought my first prestige - the SR3000 here, the electronics have gone downhill somewhat. still, IMHO, the soundgear has always been the best bass money...
