Very true Rick. I like the growl i hear from warwicks on record, mainly why i bought one. i play a variety of music from technical progressive death metal (meshuggah, periphery, after the burial, mudvayne), to groove oriented psychedlic progressive rock (pink floyd, mars volta, king crimson)...

by the way its an active bass but i can switch it to passive if i want by just pulling on the volume knob.

It sounds similar to corvete due to the same PUPS and electronics but the wood is different and not nearly as heavy! Bubinga on the vette does this maybe? Also, the pickups are spaced out differently if you look at the picture, the neck pup is closer to the neck whereas the bridge pup is closer...
