Thanks, that's what I figured. Yeah the DI is interesting. I like the tone of the head, and I want to run it into the board as a Di. It's a set it and forget it situation. I can adjust volume in my in-ears

Does anyone know if I can run this head with no speakers. Simply to use the preamp as a DI. I don't want to hurt the amp by not having a load on it, doesn't say anything in the manual about it.

I have several Lakland basses with the LH3 in them. I really like that preamp. However, I just acquired a Lakland that has a Bartolini NTMB+F pre in it. Not really diggin it compared to the LH3. Called Lakland to buy a LH3, sold out and back ordered. Bestbassgear.com advertises them as well...
