    I just slap the strings near the bridge. Mute the d string with my index. Lots of attack but it can be tricky to get the feel for the bounce from the tension. Same thing I do on "herold of the rocks"

    I have two jags same color same factory one very light one heavy as hell. Even the ash MIA FSR's vary. Some manufacturers can be more consistent than fender, but wood varies in density period. So slab basses especially are gonna vary in weight. Unless the builder is picky about that.

    The jay turser short p bass feels like a guitar hero controller. I also like the mikro for a small body. ESP LTD has a BR5-JR that has a tiny body. The jag Ss and eb-0 have pretty big bodies.

    95s would probably be more loose than what you're used to but given flats are stiffer it might be good.
