I have one that is a 1984, serial #3076, was custom made in North Vancouver when I was 17...I was a buss boy, paid $1500 CAD for it back then. It is the only bass I have never been able to part with, the sound is so amazing, only thing was it is head heavy...enjoy it, mine has signs of good...
