Thanks for the thorough comparison. Interesting about the fret edges and that's only within a few years apart. Neck dip certainly not a concern. My main bass is a '73 Precision. I'd shop vintage but the right bass for the right price could take forever.

I've read about people that have swapped the neck as well because they love the way bass is set up. Guessing that's why they made a fretted option for a few years.

Looking to rack my recently acquired WD800 in a Calzone Case. Torn between the standard black or the blue that I was informed was an option. It would match the pretty blue lights for sure.

Would be cool if Mesa still made the head cases that were used for the Walkabouts. Would be a nice option for the Subway heads that they currently make. I know portability is a big factor on their appeal but these cabinets sure are sweet!

Thanks for that! I was thinking the same. If I was to bring one cabinet to a gig which would bring me the most satisfaction. I think the 2×12 would not disappoint in the least.

Looking to take the Mesa plunge. Their Subway line is the answer to my heavy cabinet issues. Anyway initially thought the SW210 and SW115 was the way to go but now am leaning towards a single SW212. Plan on pairing with the WD800. Thoughts?
