Picking up my pf500 tomorrow. Have about a 10 song set Sunday morning and and then a 6 song set Sunday night. Fretted morning and fretless evening so ill get to really break into it :)

I was wondering that also. If people are having problems with active electronics more than with passive electronics

I really liked the simple eq. I don't want to mess with a bunch of knobs. I felt it sounded awesome with both fretted and fretless I tried it with.

I'm in the market for a new head also. I was only able to a/b a pf350, micro vr, and lh500. And the lh500 def had a warmer and fuller sound. Both me and my buddy who is also bassist felt so. I don't know if the pf500 is any warmer. I really wanted to like the light weight stuff. But I'm leaning...

I agree with the octaver being pretty good. I went back and forth tuning the b3 to my oc-2. And doing a medium octave I thought it sounded great and does track very good.

The joyo is such a inexpensive pedal there isn't really any risk to it. Plus if you really like it you could buy 2 for 2 levels of gain and still be more then half price of other options.

Joyo ultimate drive. Like $35 on amazon. Solid OCD clone.

Vibrato>slow attack>hd reverb on my fretless makes some sweet swellish upright with a bow tone I love using it as back ground pad.

For those talking about hiss and noise, are you powering with a daisychain onespot?? Because I was getting noise when I was using onespot. Then when I ran it off its own power supply no more noise.
