Thanks everyone for your replies! The Bud's speaker can be disabled by plugging a dummy plug into the headphone jack (and the tweeter has a switch), so with a PJB C4 connected, the sound would only come from the C4. I hadn't thought of using an FRFR speaker, that's an interesting idea too!
