I know this thread is older but I'm looking for info on a bass I just picked up. My color code doesn't match anything listed and after the last set of numbers (pickguard) there are two sets of letters. Is there anywhere to obtain this info? Thank you!!

I was 4 and began taking drum lessons from Bill Nawrocki at his studio. Played drums on and off for over 40 years. I picked up the bass about two years ago and found I love it just as much.

I'm 51...just picked it up last week...had it professionally set up, put a new set of strings on it and I love the sound...BUT it's definitely the sit down and play bass. I'm glad I found one, and the price was an absolute steal but I can completely understand why these aren't seen on tour much

Yes, I was referring to when I made the purchase. They had gone on sale everywhere at that time and the color i purchased was difficult to locate (probably because of the sale price).

I picked this one up from Sweetwater (last year)...apparently it was the last in this color in the free world lol I like it, kinda.

I'm guessing brick and mortar are struggling more than usual and at the few around so cal its very hit and miss as to if you're going to get good advice or a kid who likes the color or brand over another. Sad

So I just picked this one up tonight. It's an 81 and does need some new strings but she sounds great even with those rusted ones. Lol Came with the original HSC as well. Soooo can I get a number?
