Agreed! I love my 72 jazz. It's my number 1 at every show. It is naturally "roadworn." What's the point of having an awesome bass if yer not gonna play it?

I'm too durned stubborn to pour out a bad batch. Instead, I load up on cheap lager and cut the funky batch 50/50 with it. The bland stuff evens out the funk a bit and after 3-4 beers yer taste buds are less discerning anyways... Silly? Yes. Just can't stand to pour beer down the drain...
