Whose Main Bass Is A Vintage (Over 30)

This was my only bass until a few months ago. I've played this bass for about 47 of its fifty years, and it will always be my main bass.

'77 P and '79 Image (Peter Max Baranet). Sure, we can all worry about something happening to them, but I'm one of those people who uses the fine china. Life's way too short and not getting any longer.

I'm not trying to cause trouble, but doesn't "vintage" mean pre-1971? At least from a collectors standpoint? Don't mean to insult anyone's basses, I wish I had a 70s Fender.
Still don't think of it as vintage, but I guess it is. 1980 L-1000 s/n B000587, which is bass #69 (my lucky number!)

Looks like a vintage rig, too. I remember gassing hard for something like that in the early '80s.
I just starting using a '78 Jazz for my main bass. Ash body, Rosewood fretboard with MOP block inlays. The guys in the band told me to not use my other bass anymore after they heard it.
Fender P april '67 with a C neck - love it, but in need of a 5'er I tend to play my Fodera NYC which is my secret lover!
My main gig bass for the last year or so is an '82 Fullerton P reissue. She smokes, and it's hard to imagine another taking the number one spot, though you never know.
Prior to that, number one was a FrankenFender made from mostly '72 and '83 parts.

Well, my 1982 Squier JV Precision has been mine since 1996. Even though I bought some more basses the last years, it is still my number one. Black, maple, tort + a couple of modifications - SDP1 and a full shielding job.
