Nice bass! What kind of strings do you have on there?

This is my very 1st post- what a great bass forum!

I play these 3 out all the time- from left to right:

1. 1955 Fender Precision

2. 1964 Gibson Thunderbird IV-

3. 1965 Fender Jazz Bass- Olympic white w matching H-S.

" They were made to be played! "

My 68 Ric. It's one of my three regular gigging basses. It's been the only bass I've owned consistently for 20+years. I'll go thru phases where it'll be my main bass, depending on the type of music I'm gigging on.

Here's my '79 4001. This one started out as a fretless bass, but when I bought it in 2007 I had it converted back to a fretted bass. It's amazing. I have owned 4 or 5 4001's over the years and this one is one of my favorites.

Thanks!

Daniel

My 81 G&L L1000 is my go to bass. I bought it used in the early 90's. It had another MDF pick-up put in by Mike Lull so it's kind of a L-2000. I bought a few basses over the years thinking they would dethrone it.......hasn't happened yet. Someday it will be the last bass I ever play.
