Play all you can. Dont look back. Concentrate in your double bass. Your efforts there will help with your bass guitar, and not vice versa.

You dont need to be perfect pitch to have a great ear. What you need is ear training. Good luck.

Fingers; Thanks for your helpful reply. The depth control of the fishman is set to zero (all the way to the left, counterclockwise in other words). Eq in the amp its almost flat. I only adjust the 800 all the way down, because that is the only thing that i think reduce the thump. I will work...
