    Roger Patterson wrote the best lines in Atheist, if you ask me. Choy's cool too, no doubt about that, but Patterson had a crazy attack and fantastic lines. Too bad he didn't get to record the basslines for Unquestionable Presence before he died.

    for metal players, do you use typically metal basses?

    I use a Warwick FNA Jazzman for playing metal. Also aiming to buy some kind of fretless within the next couple of months, which I'm going to use in metal. Nothing beats Sean Malone's playing in Cynic.
