is it a boss ODB-3?

i am looking into the GK 1001RB is that a good well made head? i have never played one! what are some good tone shaping things to go with it? maybe a preamp or rack stuff i might need? i'm going to get a boss bass overdrive and maybe a decimator pedal. i'm new to high power and hardcore gear.

thank you for the suggestions guys ill try to test out all the ones i can find around here! ill probably be using a boss bass overdrive so the head doesn't need 100% of the dirty tone.

Do they do bass good? I've only heard studio speakers a couple times

I need some kind of small amp for my college dorm because I'm not carrying my 8x10 up there! I want something that can use headphones and an aux along with being light and having a good tone. I'm in college so money is tight I was thinking $300 tops. Thankyou!
