Well Klaus, my friend, if YOU READ THE WHOLE THREAD maybe you would find that I gave all of that information on previous replies to other members asking the same questions.

My friend has finally decided on a bass. We went to the store and he picked out the Fender Aerodyne 4-string jazz bass. He said it was slim, light weight, and comfortable. He will buy it this upcoming Saturday. He just simply loves it. :D Thanks for all of the help. :p

DON'T even consider buying from Gibson in the first place. If you want real Gibson material buy from the Heritage. The original founders of Gibson founded this company after Gibson was bought out. The company makes the classic Gibson guitars and basses. Great quality and good prices. Search 'em...
