Dear spiritbass, I have gear envy.

I can't resist saying that I take a mere 5 minutes to haul my gear from the trailer, set up, tune, and walk away to relax. Our guit-fiddlers take forever to set up their pedal boards and guitar trees. I get great satisfaction from this.

Straight in for me. I use an old, dirty, Fender labeled 15' instrument cable between my bass and amp. Recently I bought a 10' cable with a right angle plug on one end but it sounds different than the Fender. I'm not sure I like it. I never use the tone pot on my '51 reissue P and may remove it...

Our band has 2 hours worth of tunes. All our gigs are 2 hours unless we are the openers or in a lineup of bands.
