A little late to the convo here but yes, Jef Lee Johnson played a bunch with George Duke. Also toured extensively with D'Angelo, was in the band when Isaiah Sharkey came on board, as far as I know. Incredible musician and person. He has solo albums on Apple Music etc. Check out "Hype Factory" if...
