    Bass players known only to other bass players.

    As I was growing and learning it was pretty cool to learn and emulate the lines of Mike Mills of REM and Paul Simonon of The Clash. Relatively easy to learn the basics by ear, but as you really listen and get deeper into their playing, those guys were tasty!
