In case anyone comes here looking for an answer. I took my calipers to guitar center and measured the depth of the nut slot on 4 different fender pj basses the average depth was 2.5mm. Harbour freight has a set of precision files for like $4. Took me about 5 minutes to get my nut slot down to...
