Agreed. Or a proper setup. String hieghts over the pickups could be a cause or just bad resonance of that range of the bass.

I unfortunately don't have the original bridge. I will post some pics of the case when I get home but be forwarded, it's an ugly case. Lol I usually traveled with the bass in my Mono bag.

The two switches below the bridge control the Moog electronics. One is the built-in compressor and the other is a treble boost. As for the back plate, I have no idea! lol I've seen it on multiple RD's but it doesn't serve a function as far as I can tell.
