My immediate thought is that it will help but I’m not personally familiar with your amp. That is to say, if the signal is there, the PJB will faithfully reproduce it.

I don’t have a C8, but I do have two C4s and can tell you that the pair of them allows the low end to “bloom” in a way that one of them alone does not. Noticeably.
Well… I’ve driven a pair of C4s with a Fender Rumble 800 head using a Soundgear 5-string and can tell you that it is very loud and clean… but you’re right that this is merely an anecdote and not the same as empirical data.
