Maybe take it apart, look at the neck bottom where it joins the body. There’s usualy markings or stamps when it was manufactured. Look in he control cavity what do the electronics look like? Even if it is a fake fender doesn’t mean it’s not a good sounding bass.. remove that fake fender decal...
