I'm having a bit of trouble since upgrading to an Ashdown MAG 410 cab last week. With it connected to a MAG 300W head there is a rattling/buzzing noise around by the rear of the head around the fan area, this only happens when I play the notes E G on the E and A strings. Have checked all...

Should be fine, I have the exact same setup, with a 210 250w Ashdown cab and the Evo 2 head with 300w, cut through fine at gigs without the volume anywhere near the max.

Ok great this helps a lot thanks. The 210 cab came as a package with the 300w head so I guess i'm lucky that I never pushed it hard enough to burn up the speakers!!

Hi Basically i've just bought an Ashdown MAG 410 cab rated at 8ohms to go with my MAG 300w head, but I only realised after that my head is rated at 4ohms so will only produce about 200w i've been told my Ashdown with this setup. My previous 210 cab which was rated at 4ohms was producing 250w...
