    Jaco Pastorius was in Weather Report... But most of the time it was known as "Jaco Pastorius". Also Victor Wooten and "Béla Fleck and the Flecktones"... And Primus probably makes it on the list also...

    name dropping thread.

    My private double bass teacher was good friends with Gary Carr, he isn't very well known, but he's perhaps the best double bass player of today. I played with Gary for about an hour and a half. It was an honor.
