Update: So the previous owner wired the jack in backward, and somehow I didn't notice. I switched the wiring and shes as quiet as you would expect. I still need to replace that jack once the replacement arrives, and put on the tuning key I got of the 'bay for $13 :hyper:. As far as the tone...

The electronics issue I have is that when I'm not touching anything grounded (pots, bridge, ect) its dead silent. But when I touch them, the bass starts buzzing. Any pointers? Edit: The jack is also messed up, only works if you hold the cable against the jack. Will replace and report back.

I forgot to mention that my poor T40 has (had;)) finish over the sharpie as well. I took it off with a razor, will post pics tonight. Now the fret board actually looks maple instead of that grey color.

Also, I have a broken tuner on the bass. Anybody know of a good replacement?

I was in the market for a T40 because of all the great things I have heard about them off of TB. In my search I came across this gem :vomit:, and inevitably had to pull the trigger as it was a deal to good to pass up. Obviously it has some... well issues. Notably an owner at some point...

Just bought it. Went through pit bull audio, offered 135 and it was instantly excepted. Sweet deal highly recommend them, you could probably go lower.

I'm pretty stoked. Going to buy one today. I almost bought an original PWF a few times but i worried it would clunk out on me. Hopefully this sounds as good.
