I use them on my fretless ebony neck, they sound good whether live or studio work, I will use flatwound on my maple neck for that brighter sound for jazz sessions... Cheer!

I use LaBella's nylon tape wound~

Mine is in the shop, had a winding go bad on one of the pickups in the neck position and it made a devastating hum to say the least, she should be back in a week I hope. Cheers!

Thank you, yeah she is a beautiful and cherished guitar, bought her off the original owner in 94' he went to the factory with his father I believe and had this one off color made, he also had all three necks ordered with it, so I had the chance and bought as soon as I saw it in a local guitar...
