Honestly, not one thought about it! I guess that it will be simmilar to the 4 piece walnut that it origonaly had witch will undoubtebly be heavy. There are many things I have not decided on yet like the board metirial, head stock face veneers, inlays? So many choices when you can do what...

So I have been experimenting with different laquers and have not had any issues with polycrylic. Is there something I havent heard or found that would make this a poor choice for a long lasting finish?
