    How much is an amp warranty worth to you? Mesa related

    I bought a used D-800 and assumed I won't need the warranty. If I think I will need a warranty on something, I probably won't buy it in the first place. I look forward to buying a used TT when the next great amp comes out and the used prices drop.

    I received a 1998 Peavey TNT 115 BW for free when I started playing a couple months ago, from a friend at work. I thought it worked fine in the garage, so I moved it down to the basement where I play. It turns out to have a 120 Hz hum that I couldn't hear in the garage, and it drives me nuts...

    I would have thought that for bass, the bigger the speaker (15", 18"), the better the tone. But, it seems like people here get great (better?) bass tone from a 4X10 or 8X10. What am I missing?
