I'm really confused now!!! I tried my Ric through my Ashdown yesterday, and I really couldn't get a good sound at all. I don't want to sell the Ric and with people saying it's all about technique and EQ I feel like I should persevere but on the other hand, why should I have to?? I may aswell...

Im only basing it off what pro bands use... Everyone seemed to use Ampeg, but now I watch bands and a lot of them are using Ashdown.

Maybe it is simply the Ric/Ashdown Combination that is a bit gash!! I was stupid enough to not research it... I thought I want the best bass, which I thought was Ric, and the best amp, which Ashdown is considered top of the range. ARRGHH!!!
