I recently picked up a Charvel San Dimas PJV. The neck on this thing is one of the nicest 5 string necks I’ve played. Sounds like a P and has a traditional body shape.

I use a Senn EW-D for wireless. It’s not the smallest unit but is solid as a rock and fits on my large pedalboard. About the same price as the Shure GLXD but it’s a digital unit. Have had zero issues with it.

I have been using the SB500 for 3-4 years. Dragged it to dozens of gigs and practices. It’s been a solid amp. No frills but effective controls. I recommend.

The COL has gotten insane here. Gas, housing, insurance, groceries…it never ends. Oh, and the cost of basses. Yikes.

I use a multi for effects and downtuning only. Amp and cab sims are turned off. My signal then goes to a preamp on my pedal board then to my amp.

Definitely check the battery box. I had a loss solder joint on one of mine.

My Tecamp 212 is 43lbs, My Baer ML112 is 37lbs. Both I consider reasonably light. The handle design and placement on my Tecamp make it an easy one hand carry for me even though it’s a bigger cab than the Baer.

We play both. Alive empties the dance floor pretty quick. Even Flow seems to go over well enough, but isn’t much fun to play. It’s easy enough to give me time to see what’s going on around the venue.
