    I saw your post from about 4 years ago concerning Mesa Boogie Strategy 8:88 vs Ampeg SVT 300.

    Hey TIm,
    I ended up with a mesa boogie 400+ and a Ampeg SVT CL.
    I like the sound of the Ampeg better, but it wish it was an extra 100 watts like the 400, i always take both out with me, and I have more problems with the CL

    . So as far as reliability goes, i ended up with a mesa boogie 400+, you can snipe them on reverb for a pretty cheap price often. I got my last one for less than $1000 bucks.
