Just bought a Dean Pace 5 string. Haven't got it yet... heard very different things about it like: "at first it was active, that was damn good, now it's passive, boooo" or vice versa: "before was poor active electronics, now it's finally passive, great!" Now, what may I believe...? I ordered it...
