    Bartolini NTMB Issue

Yes. I have the 4.6AP blah blah NTMB+ that came with the correct pots for the preamp. They work swimmingly with the active MECs. Invalid Link Removed

    Bartolini NTMB Issue

I quite like the sound from the active MECs in my vette. No need to change em out IMO.

    Bartolini NTMB Issue

Run the serial number through the warwick serial number thing to get all the specs of your bass. I'm 99% sure that you have the gold lettered active jazz pickups.

    Bartolini NTMB Issue

I've got the same preamp and a vette with the MEC active gold lettered pickups.. please note the following as it IS your issue. Do you have the MEC gold lettered pickups? I believe the answer is yes, because I think I see a red wire coming out of each pickup hole along with a white wire. The...

    Dually Vs Dually T

In my modeled response curve for my cab I *think* the upper -3db point was around 2k. Might've been a bit higher but thats what I get for thinking. There really isn't a ton of sonic content above 3k with my cab.

    Dually Vs Dually T

I've got a Dually inspired 215 with the 15pr400's that I built and I will say it has enough high end for slap, but there certainly is no sparkle to the sound that the upper treble range provides. If thats what you're into then you'll need a tweeter. If I designed mine over I'd add a mid driver...

yes. I'll have my tablet too though. plus there is 7 of us going so never a dull moment. Forgot to add the pillow and sleeping bag to the list. Thanks! Also, I'm pretty sure I've had a drum key in my gig bag for a couple years. My drummer is the *most* forgetful chick I've ever met. Period...

First time on tour. Headed to Wakarusa. What to bring?

So my band Link Removed is going on our first tour starting tomorrow and I need some pointers about what to bring. We are only playing three shows. The first will be small at DGs Taphouse in Aimes, Iowa with probably under 100 people in attendance. The second should be a mid sized gig with...

    Question on naming intervals

as others have said the 7th in a minor scale is a p4 above the 4th. check out dan haerle's 'The Jazz Language: A Theory Text for Jazz Composition and Improvisation' book as it has exercises on different ways of defining 7th chords, including by their intervals, along with a nunch of other...
